Out on the Town

Out on the Town-Fun.

Not sure what I'm really writing about today.  Today has been one of those days where I have a lot on my mind, and I'm thinking of past memories.  As I've gotten older (I mean, I'm 20 yrs. old now.  I'm basically grown up! haha), I've learned so much.  This past year of college, I think I've have grown a ton!  I have learned a lot about, well I don't think I can call it love, because I'm not sure I truly know what love is, but I've learned a lot about like.  I've learned how great guys can be.  I have met so many wonderful guys in the past that are so nice to me. They would drop every plan they had just to hang out with me, and isn't that the perfect kind of guy? But, I have also learned about attraction and how important that is to me.  When I go out with a guy, if there's ever going to be something between us, I have to be attracted to them.  I am not being shallow, I think that personality and everything is so important, but if there is no attraction it just is not going to work.  Luckily, I have had that experience where just from the touch of hands, your heart flutters, and I think that has helped me realize that eventually I will find someone that I get along well with and am attracted to... well I hope so. As much as I think attraction is important, I think that conversation is just as important.  I am one of those girls that would rather sit and talk to a guy during a date than watch a movie.  But, if there is no easy conversation flow, then I'd rather not. haha We've all had that super awkward date where there is just nothing to say to each other.  I think for me I am really interested in other people's ideas, and from past dates, I have learned that the best date is when you can listen, learn, and share ideas with the other person.  I think that we all owe it to ourselves to not settle.  There are always people that you can see yourself being with, but if you know that you aren't attracted to him, or you just know that it's not going anywhere, give it up.  Everyone has someone out there, but you don't have to just be with someone because you like to have someone with you.  Try the single life... I promise, it's not that bad. But, a word to all those guys out there that are single and constantly playing the field breaking girls hearts... STOP IT! Girls, don't fall for those guys that don't treat you as well as you should be treated.  You may be super attracted to them and see no fault in them at all, but when they don't text you back, never take time to see you, and really just play games with you, DROP THEM.  They aren't worth your time!! Believe me... I know. Anyways, I guess I've rambled on long enough.  Maybe as you listen to the song I chose you will see how it is connected.  If not, that's okay... we all have different opinions.
